## Set the context

Open **Dashboard** and confirm the workspace, selected period, and any team or activity filters. A summary is meaningful only in the context shown on screen.

## Read summary cards

Use each card as a starting point, not as proof of a completed business result. Open the supporting view when a number needs to be explained or acted on.

## Review activity

Check the activity name, person, time period, and visible status. Compare like periods when looking for a change. If a number looks unexpected, confirm filters and refresh before reporting it.

## Use activity boards safely

Only approved activity measures should appear on an activity board or shared display. Review participants and visibility before showing a board in a shared space.

## Verify the result

After changing a dashboard setting, reopen the same view and confirm the period, scope, selected measures, and ordering. A displayed total does not replace checking the underlying records when accuracy matters.
