# Troubleshoot a Result That Looks Wrong

Recheck scope, saved state, status, permissions, and visible evidence before retrying a Workganic action.

## Stop before repeating the action

If a result is missing or unexpected, do not immediately repeat an action that sends, publishes, approves, pays, removes, or creates records. A delayed or filtered result can look incomplete even when processing has begun.

## Recheck the context

Confirm the workspace, app, page or record, date range, filters, selected status, and your role. Remove one filter at a time when a list or total appears incomplete.

## Distinguish saved state from final state

Identify whether the screen shows a draft, saved change, queued item, completed action, published result, or separate external result. Use the visible status and history rather than assuming that one state proves the next.

## Refresh and reopen

Save only when appropriate, refresh the view, and reopen the same item from its normal list. Compare the visible identifier, time, status, and latest activity with the action you intended.

## Use a safe recovery path

Use **History**, **Discard**, restore, retry, or another visible recovery control only when the guide for that area describes its effect. Read confirmations carefully and preserve the information needed to explain the original result.

## Ask for help

When the result remains unclear, use [Workganic Support](/support/). Include the guide title, app, visible status, approximate time, and the step where the result differed. Do not include passwords or private client information.
