## Start with the setting owner

Open **Settings** and choose the area that owns the behavior you want to change. Read the current value and its scope before editing.

## My Account

Use **My Account** for your own identity, preferences, time zone, notifications, and sign-in or session settings.

## Team and Security

Use **Team & Security** for membership, roles, permissions, access review, and workspace security. Follow least privilege and verify the affected person after a change.

## Communications

Use **Mail** and **Phone & Messaging** for sender or calling identity, signatures, routing, devices, voicemail, and communication preferences. Verify both the saved setting and the relevant app state.

## Sales and reporting

Use **CRM & Sales** for sales workflow behavior and **Dashboard** for visible activity measures and shared displays.

## Public experiences

Use **Marketing & Website** for websites, public contact details, forms, domains, search settings, visitor experiences, and portal wording. Review public changes in a private view before publishing.

## Scheduling

Use **Schedule & Calendar** for availability, booking behavior, calendar connections, and workflow timing.

## Verify every setting

Save one related group, reopen the section, and confirm the value. Then verify the affected app or public experience separately. Stop if the scope or downstream effect is unclear.
