Team chat that knows the client you’re talking about.

Channels, direct messages, and threads for your agency — with client cards that respect each reader’s permissions, search that respects membership, and nothing left behind in the browser.

  • Channels, DMs, and threads

Public and private channels, direct and group messages, one-level threads, reactions, mentions, pins, and saved messages — inside the same Workganic shell as the CRM, with a TeamChat dock beside the client record.

  • Share a client without oversharing

Drop a client card into a conversation. Every reader is re-authorized when it renders, and anyone without access to that client sees “Restricted client” instead of the record.

  • Files that stay in Workganic

Attachments are TeamChat files with their own access checks and previews. A download is an authorized action, not a public link.

  • Notifications you can tune

Per conversation, choose mentions only, direct messages, followed threads, or everything. You get at most one notification per message, and nothing in it reveals message content.

  • Search that respects membership

Workganic’s global search returns TeamChat results only from conversations you belong to, and lands on the exact message or thread.

  • Retention, legal holds, and exports

Admins with the compliance permission set retention, place legal holds, run exports, and review access audits from Settings — and those rules keep applying even if TeamChat is later turned off.

TeamChat is part of the Agency and Enterprise plans and is enabled per agency. It is for your agency’s own users: no guests, bots, or outside links into it, and no message, draft, file, or search result is ever stored in the browser.

FAQ

Which plans include TeamChat?

TeamChat comes with the Agency and Enterprise plans and is switched on per agency. Your account team can confirm it is active for your workspace.

Does TeamChat store messages on my computer?

No. Messages, drafts, files, and search results live on the server. Drafts, including unsent attachments, survive a refresh without touching browser storage.

Can clients or outside guests join?

No. TeamChat is for your agency’s users only. There are no guests, bots, calls, video, or external links into it.

What happens when someone deletes a message?

Authors get an eight-second undo. A moderator delete requires a reason that stays in the revision history, and earlier versions of edited messages are kept for compliance.

TeamChat works around the same client record as everything else.

The conversation about a client sits one tab from the client. See how it fits into your agency’s day — on your own book of business, not a canned demo.
