AEP Radar: See Plan-Year Disruption Across Your Whole Book
Workganic now ships native Medicare intelligence: AEP Radar, drug-level coverage checks, plan compare, cost estimates, and compliant SOAs — inside your CRM.
Every fall, the same scramble. CMS publishes new plan-year data, carriers shuffle their formularies, a plan you wrote forty clients into raises its premium or disappears entirely — and you find out one client at a time, on the phone, during the busiest seven weeks of your year.
The agents who win AEP aren't the ones who dial fastest in October. They're the ones who walk in already knowing which clients are about to be disrupted. Until now, that knowledge lived in enterprise enrollment platforms that rent it back to you per seat, per year, with your book locked inside.
We just built it into Workganic. Natively. Here's what shipped.
AEP Radar: your whole book, triaged before you make a call
AEP Radar is a new Dashboard section that sweeps every Medicare client in your book and compares their current plan against the newest plan-year data loaded from CMS — automatically advancing each year as new data publishes.
For each client it flags, you see exactly why they surfaced:
- Plan discontinued — their contract/plan isn't offered next year.
- Premium jump — their plan continues, but at a meaningfully higher price.
- Drug dropped — a medication on their list leaves the plan's formulary.
- Tier raised — a drug they take moves to a more expensive tier.
- New restrictions — prior authorization, step therapy, or quantity limits added to a drug they take.
That's not a lead list. That's a priority queue for your first two weeks of AEP, built from your own book, sorted by who actually needs you.
Drug-level coverage answers, on the client record
Workganic keeps one medication list per client — the same list your health intake and your Medicare work both read, so nothing gets typed twice. Next to that list, you can now check any plan and get an honest, per-drug answer:
- Covered, with the tier
- Prior auth / step therapy / quantity limit flags
- Estimated copay or coinsurance for the initial coverage phase, from CMS cost-share data
- Unknown, when the data genuinely doesn't say — we will never guess a drug into "not covered"
Behind it sits the full public CMS dataset: 12,000+ Medicare Advantage and Part D plans with county-level availability and millions of formulary records, across both the current and prior plan year, refreshed as CMS publishes.
Side-by-side compare that answers the client's real question
Plan compare in Workganic puts plans next to each other with the client's own medications scored against each one. Not "here are three brochures" — "here's how each of these plans treats the eight drugs you actually take." Premiums, drug coverage, and restriction flags in one view you can walk a client through on a call.
The Scope of Appointment, finally not embarrassing
SOA handling in Workganic got a full rework this month:
- CMS-correct content with your legal business name, agent info, and NPN.
- E-sign links on your own domain — your agency's site, your branding, never a platform URL.
- An identity gate before anything client-specific renders: the signer confirms last name plus a second identifier on file (last-4 SSN, DOB, phone, or email). A forwarded or guessed link shows nothing.
- Stable links that survive re-sends, a 365-day validity window with automatic revival to current paperwork, and every view, signature, and booking click streamed to the client timeline in real time.
- Wet-sign, email, print, download, and fax paths for the clients who want paper.
Compliance that's already ahead of the CY2027 rule
The CY2027 Medicare marketing rule (published April 2026, applying to marketing activity beginning October 1, 2026) changes the ground rules: the 48-hour SOA waiting period is gone and disclaimer timing moved. Workganic's call coaching already checks the TPMO disclaimer against the new standard — it must land before plan benefits are discussed, not at a stopwatch mark — and flags recordings that miss it. Recording access is audited, and retention defaults hold to the stricter historical standard.
Compliance is your responsibility; Workganic's job is making the compliant path the easy one.
What we deliberately didn't build
No third-party enrollment engine is bolted on, and your quoting data isn't licensed from a vendor who can take it back. When it's time to submit an enrollment, you finish in the carrier's own portal — and everything before that moment, from first ad click to signed SOA to plan decision, lives in a system you control, white-labeled to your agency.
Your book, your brand, your data. That's the point.
FAQ
Where does the plan and drug data come from?
Public CMS data — plan landscape, formulary, and beneficiary cost files — loaded into Workganic and refreshed as CMS publishes. When data doesn't answer a question, Workganic says "unknown" rather than guessing.
Does AEP Radar contact my clients automatically?
No. It builds the triage list; outreach stays in your hands (and your workflow automations, if you choose).
Is Workganic an enrollment platform?
No. Workganic covers everything up to enrollment — records, quoting, comparison, SOA, compliance, portal — and you submit enrollments through the carrier's own portal.
What does my agency need to turn this on?
Medicare features are enabled per organization in Settings → Product Lines. Your account team can walk you through it.
