Open the intended client record
Open CRM, search before creating, and compare enough visible details to select the intended person. The client header is the context for the timeline, health profile, notes, tasks, files, policies, and quotes.
Keep private information in the purpose-built fields. Do not copy it into public pages, broad conversations, or filenames.
Move work through Client Statuses
Read the current status and its category before changing it. Select the status that describes the client's current state, not the action you hope will happen next. Add a dated task when follow-up is required.
After saving, reopen the record and confirm the status, owner, and latest timeline entry. If the desired status is absent, use Settings, CRM & Sales, then Client Statuses only if your role permits configuration.
Create and complete tasks
Create a task from the client context or Schedule, then set a clear title, owner, due date and time, and relevant client. Save and verify it in Tasks.
Complete a task only after the described work is done. If the task needs a new follow-up, create the next task before closing the current one. Reopen overdue or completed views to confirm the result.
Record an interaction
Add a note or timeline activity from the correct client. State what occurred, the useful outcome, and the next action without adding unnecessary private detail. Check the displayed time and author after saving.
If a note is wrong, use the available correction path and preserve enough context to understand the correction. Do not create a second client record to hide an error.
Import people into CRM
Use the visible import workflow only with an authorized source file. Confirm the destination workspace, map each column, review validation results, and inspect duplicate candidates before committing the import.
Use a small synthetic sample first. Keep the import summary and verify representative records after completion. Stop if columns are ambiguous, duplicates are unresolved, or the available rollback cannot safely undo the intended scope.
Export CRM data
Confirm who authorized the export, select the minimum necessary records and fields, and review the visible count before starting. Store the downloaded copy only in an approved location.
Reopen export history when available and confirm the scope and completion state. An export creates a separate copy that must be protected and removed according to workspace policy.
Track products and policies
Open the client's product or policy section. Choose the correct product line, record the application or policy state shown by the supporting information, set ownership and dates, then save.
Verify the policy entry and related timeline activity. Do not mark an application submitted, issued, paid, or active without the corresponding visible evidence.
Prepare and compare quotes
Open the client's Quotes section. Confirm the client inputs, product focus, state, and requested coverage before generating or reviewing results. Check the result date because availability and amounts can change.
Compare like options and explain the visible differences. Save only the intended comparison. Before sharing, confirm the recipient and remove options or details that are not needed.
Stop conditions
Stop when identity, workspace, owner, status meaning, import mapping, export authority, policy evidence, or quote inputs are uncertain.
