Set the scope

Open Marketing and select Dashboard. Confirm the website, date range, and traffic filters before reading a total or comparison.

Read the summaries

  • Leads are completed submissions in the selected scope.
  • Partials are incomplete submissions with meaningful progress.
  • Visitors show qualifying website activity in the selected scope.
  • Funnel groups progress by visible form step.
  • Sources summarize the attribution information available for the selected activity.

Open the supporting view

Use a dashboard summary to navigate to the relevant list. Confirm the same filters in the supporting view before comparing counts.

Interpret carefully

A visitor is not automatically a known person, a partial is not a completed lead, and an attributed source may be incomplete. Use the visible record and status rather than inferring identity or intent.

Verify a surprising result

Confirm the site and dates, remove one filter at a time, refresh the view, and compare with the supporting list. Record the visible filters when asking for help.
