Draft
A draft is the working version of a page. Website Builder edits autosave as drafts. A saved draft can differ from the public page and should be reviewed before publishing.
Expected verification: reopen the page in Website Builder and confirm the draft content and visible draft status.
Private test view
Open Test Site opens the private test view. Use it to review page structure, content, forms, links, search details, accessibility, and desktop and mobile layout before publishing.
Expected verification: confirm that the test view shows the intended draft and is not being mistaken for the public page.
Published
For a standard marketing page, Save Changes publishes the current saved draft. For a Documentation page, Review & Publish asks you to confirm the public-content review for that exact draft before Workganic publishes it. Any later documentation edit requires a new review. A page labeled Published has a public version, but the published page must still be opened and checked after the action.
Expected verification: select Open Published Page, confirm the public path, and repeat the important content, link, form, and mobile checks.
History and restore
History lists saved versions. Loading a prior page or block version places that content into the draft. It does not become public until the page's visible publish action is completed: Save Changes for a standard marketing page or Review & Publish for a Documentation page.
Expected verification: review the restored draft in Open Test Site before deciding whether to publish it.
Discard
Discard abandons draft changes and returns the editor to the published page. Read the confirmation carefully because draft edits can be replaced.
Expected verification: compare the editor with Open Published Page and confirm that the unwanted draft is no longer active.
Status rule
Treat draft saved, private review passed, publish action completed, and published page verified as four different facts. Report only the facts you have directly confirmed.
