Start with the page purpose

Open Marketing, choose Website Builder, select the intended site and page, then choose Add Block. Build one section at a time. Block choices and appearance depend on the selected theme and available site features.

For an existing website, record the approved section order, text, images, links, and visitor actions. Use the migration guide to plan the complete move. A matching block name does not guarantee an identical layout or recreate specialized behavior.

Lead with a Hero

Use Hero for the opening message, image, and main action. Fill in Eyebrow, Heading, Body, Hero Image, CTA Label, and CTA Link as appropriate. Choose an available Layout, then check image cropping and text wrapping in the private test site.

Use an action label that describes the destination. A button linking to a contact page is different from a form that submits information. A split hero with a form requires selecting the intended form; adding the hero alone does not create a working intake process.

Add explanation and repeated content

  • Intro and Text suit headings, paragraphs, and supporting sections. Use their available section controls to add, duplicate, move, or remove content.
  • Feature Grid, Feature Cards, and Why Grid suit benefits presented as repeated items.
  • FAQ suits questions and answers. Keep each answer understandable on its own.
  • Testimonials suits approved quotations. Obtain permission and do not invent endorsements.
  • Guarantees and Trust Badges suit substantiated commitments or credentials. Do not publish unverified claims.
  • Contact Info suits public contact details. Do not place private staff details or client information in public content.

Use the fields actually offered by the selected block. Review every repeated item, including its image, title, description, and link when those controls are available.

Use images deliberately

Use Image Band for an image with supporting text, Photo Overlay Band for text over imagery, and Image Gallery for a group of images. Screenshot Frame can present an approved product image where available.

Upload only media you have permission to publish. Provide meaningful alternative text where offered, check image quality, and verify the crop at narrow widths. Text over photography must remain readable. Do not use screenshots containing real customer information as examples.

Connect the visitor action

  • Button / Link adds a destination; CTA Ribbon creates a prominent action section.
  • Form Embed displays a selected form. Set the heading and frame title, and confirm the selected form matches the intended visitor journey.
  • Booking Widget supports an available booking experience. Verify appointment options and confirmation behavior.
  • Lead Form Page supports a lead-focused page layout. Review the form, consent language, confirmation, and intended destination together.
  • Thank You provides confirmation content. It does not, by itself, prove a submission was received.
  • Redirect sends visitors to another destination. Test it before publishing and avoid circular redirects.

Use synthetic information for tests. Confirm both the visitor-facing outcome and the expected result in the appropriate Workganic workspace. Read the forms guide and privacy-policy guide before collecting information.

Recognize specialized blocks

Some themes offer Trust Band, Founder Letter, App Grid, Works Everywhere, App Spotlight, and Next App Link for branded storytelling and navigation. Pricing Tiers and Plan Comparison Matrix present approved plan information; displaying pricing is not a checkout or billing configuration.

Blog Article and Blog Index support editorial pages and listings. Documentation supports a guide with a section, search phrases, and guide content. Documentation changes require the public-content review step before publication.

Workganic Signup is a specialized signup surface, not a general-purpose replacement for a tenant contact form. If a block does not match the intended visitor journey, choose an appropriate standard block instead.

Keep shared navigation consistent

Use Site Settings for shared site choices. Where Footer Resource Links is available, add a label and destination, then choose Save Site Settings. Edit or remove those links there as well. Verify the footer on multiple published pages; shared settings affect the site rather than only the open page.

Use Footer for its available content controls, including privacy-link text and destination. Link to your organization's own accurate privacy policy. A privacy link does not supply a policy or make its statements correct.

Check the header, narrow-screen menu, and footer separately. A link appearing in one location does not prove it appears in the others.

Assemble a synthetic practice page

For a fictional Harbor Light practice site, try this sequence:

  1. Hero with a practice image and a contact-page action.
  2. Intro describing the fictional business.
  3. Feature Grid with three sample services.
  4. FAQ answering common service questions.
  5. CTA Ribbon linking to the intended contact page.
  6. Footer with reviewed public links and the site's privacy-policy destination.

Keep practice content invented and clearly identified as sample content. Do not publish fictional testimonials or credentials as real claims.

Review and publish the completed page

Select Open Test Site and check section order, spacing, headings, image crops, readable text, links, and forms at desktop and phone widths. Compare the result with the approved design at the same widths.

When a native block cannot reproduce an interaction, record the difference and obtain a decision before publishing. Do not paste scripts, extension code, or private exports into page content to imitate the old site.

After approval, use Save Changes for a standard page or Review & Publish for a Documentation page. Open the published page and verify it separately. Use the migration acceptance checklist before treating a full website move as complete.
