Use the main app bar

The app bar opens Dashboard, CRM, Phone, Schedule, Mail, Files, Books, Marketing, Batch, Print, and TeamChat. Open the app that owns the task, then confirm the workspace and selected record before changing anything. Settings is available from the account menu.

If an app or control is absent, your role or workspace may not include it. Do not work around a missing control.

Open Global Search, enter the minimum information needed to identify the item, and narrow by result type when available. Compare the visible name, record context, and status before opening a result.

Search results are navigation aids. Opening a result does not change it, and a similar name is not proof that it is the intended record.

Keep record context while using docks

Docked panels can keep calls, schedules, mail, files, and conversations beside the active record. Before composing, uploading, or calling, recheck the record name shown in the main workspace and the panel.

Close or collapse a dock when it obscures the current context. Reopen it from the visible app control rather than guessing which prior record remains selected.

Work safely across tabs

Use a new tab only when the visible control supports it. Give each tab one clear purpose, and recheck the workspace and record when returning to an older tab. A change in one tab can make another tab stale.

If Workganic reports that newer information exists, preserve any draft, reload when it is safe, and reopen the item from its normal list.

Use the six-state verification pattern

  • Draft means work is still editable and has not reached its final audience.
  • Saved means Workganic retained the change.
  • Processed means a queued or grouped action finished its Workganic step.
  • Sent means Workganic recorded the outbound action.
  • Published means a public version exists.
  • Completed outside Workganic is a separate result that must be confirmed where it occurs.

Never use an earlier state as proof of a later one.

Verify before moving on

  1. Record the workspace, item, and starting status.
  2. Make one related change.
  3. Wait for the visible confirmation or status.
  4. Reopen the item from its normal list.
  5. Confirm the saved value, time, owner, and current status.
  6. For a send, public page, download, payment, or other external result, verify that destination separately.

Recover from the wrong context

Stop without saving or sending. Close the incorrect record or panel, return to the owning app, search again, and confirm the destination. If an action may already have started, check history before repeating it.
