Understand the boundary
Prospect Research is a private workspace for reviewing business evidence and explaining possible collisions. The research view does not send outreach and does not create CRM records.
Add and review a research batch
- Open Marketing and select Prospect Research.
- Choose Add research batch.
- Add only business information that your agency is permitted to review for the intended purpose.
- Review each item, its visible evidence, and any possible duplicate.
- Exclude uncertain, irrelevant, or unsupported items rather than guessing.
Do not add health information, payment information, account credentials, or private client records to prospect research.
Build the preview
Select the reviewed items and build the CRM import preview. In the current released workflow, this is a frozen duplicate analysis only. Its subtitle states: No CRM record or outreach was created.
Use the preview to verify the selected businesses, the proposed result, and duplicate handling. Return to research if an item is uncertain or the collision explanation is incomplete.
Keep the current boundary clear
- Research means evidence has been gathered for review.
- Selected means an item is included in the current preview request.
- Preview means a frozen duplicate analysis exists.
Stop at the preview. This guide does not describe or authorize a CRM import or outreach workflow. Never describe a research item or preview as imported, contacted, or completed.
Verify the result
Confirm the intended workspace, the exact selected items, duplicate handling, and the frozen preview result. The current Prospect Research screen should continue to state that CRM creation and outreach remain disabled.
